Bar del Pla

One of the best meals we had on our trip!! The roast beef de picanha absolutely blew my mind. We stumbled upon it at lunchtime around noon, and it was pretty empty, and I had no idea it was such a crowded spot usually. We also got to taste some fun natural wine, and the waitstaff was kind and attentive. Truly outstanding food, and I would travel back to Barcelona just to eat there again.

One of the best meals I’ve had. Just amazing. Food. Service. Ambiance. 10/10. Boisterous so be ready. Cozy. But boy oh boy are you in for a treat. Pics do not do it justice. Not pictured was the monk fish amongst many other plates. Don’t hesitate.

Bar Del Pla was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona. I first saw it recommended on social media, and it still managed to exceed all expectations. The first night we couldn’t get a table, but the lovely hostess took our number and made sure we had a spot the next day. She was so warm and welcoming, it already felt like a good sign. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish had its own unique flavor, the presentation was beautiful, and the wine pairing just made it all come together perfectly. You can tell the chef has a real gift for creating something special. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting too, it felt like the kind of place you want to linger. If you’re in Barcelona, make sure you don’t miss this place.

Do yourself a favor and make a reservation here for around 9:30pm, otherwise enjoy waiting in a long line. Food is stupid good, staff are knowledgeable and cool, this place is totally worth it. Super flavors and confident chefs. Wow wow, thank you for such an enjoyable night.

THE best meal I have had in a very long time!! The queue is worthwhile. If you have to pick one place to eat in Barcelona this is the one! Staff are so lovely and the wine compliments all the food so so well

Excellent food. The best patatas bravas I have ever had in my life. Enjoyed the rice of the day too, which of course, is in the paella style. They can get very busy though, so would recommend calling ahead to make reservations.

We were lucky enough to score 2 nights at Bar de Pla in a week’s trip to Barcelona. We tried to eat the menu and everything was delicious. Service was fast and furious. Reasonably priced and certainly some authentic Spanish Tapas offered. Quality was great both nights.

During our vacation in Barcelona, we had the chance to Lunch at Bar del Pla, and it was without a doubt one of the culinary highlights of our trip. We sampled nearly the entire menu, and each tapa was better than the last — bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and showcasing the best of Catalan cuisine with a creative twist. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the wine — and our fantastic server Gabriel. He guided us through a selection of exceptional natural wines, all from the region, and every recommendation came with a detailed explanation that reflected both deep knowledge and genuine passion. His suggestions paired perfectly with the dishes and made the whole Lunch even more memorable. The atmosphere was lively yet intimate, and the combination of outstanding food, incredible wines, and warm, personalized service made this an unforgettable Lunch.
